Toyota Innova Review

BoldToyota Innova the company has made an attempt to spearhead the way forward in to a new way of motoring life. This classy and powerful car has been developed as a whole new category by Toyota as it changes the way we have perceived UV’s to be traditionally. The Toyota Innova is unlike other UV’s that’s for sure and that can be seen in the way that it has been received especially on the Indian soil. Being the first large sized MPV in India it seems so simple yet it has been laboriously crafted to perfection.

Keeping in mind the prevailing trends the Innova has been developed in a far more aerodynamic and curvy shape than the Qualis. The grille area and the snoopy head lamps along with the wrap around bumper give the front side the trademark Toyota corporate look. The contemporary considerations can be seen in the way the character creases run through the car and the bulges around the wheel arch. From the backside the car has a stepped bumper and a recessed number plate section. The tail lights are large and rectangular which gives it a whole new look as compared with the older UV’s.

Toyota Corolla Review

The latest Corolla has arrived on the scene which at a first glance seems quite like its predecessor. Closer observations reveal the subtle changes that make this corolla an even hotter buy. The front end sports a new bumper that has fog lights integrated into it. This feature compliments the new grille and in terms of design this is the most strikingly different feature that the new Corolla. The headlamps on the new Corolla are clear and the rear features redesigned tail lamps which add the look of the car.

More significant however are the upgrades on the interior. The fabrics on the seat and trims have been changed and the upgraded version comes with perforated leather. The driver’s side has an adjustable lumbar support which is a new feature. All except the base model feature mock wood paneling. The six CD MP3 players can be controlled with the navigation audio controls on the steering which has been specially designed for this version of the Corolla. Furthermore the car has automatic headlamps that switch off after the sun sets. Plus the car has a key less entry system with a security alarm system.

Tata Sierra Review

Tata Motors have managed to make a mark on the automobile market more than one time. Recently however the company has sent ripples in the market with the release of the Tata Sierra. The company has come a long considering the fact that it was once considered to be just a commercial vehicles producer. The company began to test its expertise on developing passenger vehicles and received overwhelming success with the launch of its first ever attempt at passenger vehicles with the Sierra.

Traditionally it has been noticed that many people deter from putting their hands on a diesel engine car. The reasons behind this are many such as the conception that diesel engines are not that durable and require a high level of maintenance etc. With the Sierra however Tata Motors managed to cause a shift in the other wise static perception of the public. Although the car was nothing extra ordinary in terms of exterior design it serves great utility.

Tata Safari Review

Tata Motors have come up with some very interesting concept cars for the Indian public primarily and the world at large. The company is quick to realize the market trends and acts fast to capitalize on the issue. The Tata safari is one prime example of Tata’s ingenuity. They introduced this utility car into the Indian market long before any other important utility vehicle had been imported from foreign manufacturers. With the vehicle carrying the reputed brand name of Tata and a highly competitive price tag the car easily found its way in to the homes of the Indian public.

When the Tata Safari initially hit the market it was taken as a symbolic representation of adventure and freedom. With the passage of time however many foreign manufacturers released their own versions of the utility vehicle into the Indian market with the result that the Tata Safari fell out of fashion. To match up to the raised standards set by the foreign companies Tata reintroduced an enhanced version of the safari known as the safari dicor. In this way they were able to stay in the game of utility cars.

The safari featured a very contemporary diesel engine which was a 3 liter Direct Injection Common Rail Engine. Due to this engine the safari was much less noisier than other vehicles of this power and size. The engine also resulted in increased fuel efficiency. The effective consumption of the fuel did not come at the cost of the car’s performance as the safari can zip to a 100 kilometers per hour in a matter of twenty seconds. For the size at which the safari stands it has a rather competitive turning radius of around six meters. The fact that the car is endowed with a power steering makes the drive all the more pleasurable.

Tata Nano Review

Tata Motors car manufacturers has been talked about as much as the Tata Nano. Even before its release we had the people talking about it and eagerly anticipating it’s released. Much to the deliverance of the public it was finally revealed at the 9th annual auto expo in the first half of january 2008 in the city of New Delhi. This is a highly democratic car as the promotional tag line suggests it to “the people’s car”. Tata Motors have claimed it to be the world’s cheapest car. With a price of Rs 100,000 the standard version of the Nano costs just a little bit more than a decent motorbike.

Classified as being part of the new breed of 21st century cars the Nano symbolizes the new age philosophy of smaller, lighter and cheaper cars. The Tata Nano is without a doubt the leader in terms of causing a world wide trend of producing smaller cars. The interesting name actually has the very essence of the concept behind the car in its meaning. Nano is derived from the Greek word nanos which means dwarf. The word also means “small” in Gujrati which happens to be the mother tongue of the Tata owners.

The project was initiated in the year 2003 to construct a small sized car in the range of one hundred thousand rupees. This was done after considering the fact that India had a considerable number of families that were being forced to drive around on two wheelers due to the lack of finance for a four wheeler. This was the basic motive behind creating the Nano which was also encouraged with the company’s successful attempt at producing a low cost four wheel truck in 2005.
